Are you at least 14 years old and interested in our Cadet Program?

Our Program is designed for young men and women who want to explore the profession, but who are not yet at an age to become a full member. This is a great opportunity for youth in the area to learn valuable skills that may open up more opportunities as an adult. Cadets will learn the basic skills needed to become a firefighter and/or EMT and participate in KVFD training activities, all under the close supervision of KVFD personnel.

If you are interested in joining the Cadet Program, you can contact KVFD, or stop by one of our stations and speak with one of our members to learn more about the requirements. Once you are ready, download and fill out the application below, then drop it off at Headquarters or send it via mail.
